4. 2015 Cotton Bowl vs. Baylor

Sliding in at No. 4 is one of the greatest comeback wins in program history. Michigan State just finished a solid 2014 regular season that saw them go 10-2 with their two losses coming to the two teams that played in this season’s national championship game. Because of those two losses MSU wasn’t viewed as being on the elite tier of programs this year, but this win against Baylor proved all of those people wrong.

The Spartans entered the fourth quarter losing to Baylor by 20 points before they roared back to score 21 unanswered point to win 42-41.

This win announced to the country that Michigan State wasn’t going anywhere after winning the Big Ten and Rose Bowl a season ago. This comeback win also helped propel Michigan State into their offseason before their College Football Playoff campaign the next season.

The best part of this win is that it exemplifies the exact culture that Dantonio built at Michigan State, one where they never gave up and would outwork their opponent no matter what.
