9. Trent Sisley

Next we have Trent Sisley, a four-star forward from Montverde, Fla. Sisley is the one recruit on this list who isn’t ranked in the top 50, but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad player.

Sisley comes in at No. 74 in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He also is the No. 11 player from Florida and No. 18 forward in the country.

Sisley indirectly announced his top four schools recently when he announced four upcoming official visits. Being that he’s originally from Indiana, it’s no surprise to see that Indiana, Purdue, and Notre Dame were the three schools to earn a visit along with Michigan State.

The three Indiana schools will host Sisley throughout September with Michigan State getting the last visit on Oct. 12. We’ve already talked about the significance of getting the final visit, but that’s amplified in Sisley’s case.

Sisley has also announced that he’ll be committing in mid-October, so that commitment will likely come days after he wraps up his visit to East Lansing.

That makes me feel very confident in this recruitment, so expect Izzo and his staff to put the full court press on Sisley in October and don’t be surprised to see Michigan State come out on top in this recruitment.
