Recruiting updates on Michigan State basketball’s top 2025 targets
10. Jalen Haralson
Last but certainly not least is another five-star target in Jalen Haralson.
Haralson is one of the top forwards in the country, checking in at No. 9 according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He also is the No. 1 player from Indiana and No. 2 forward in the class as well.
Haralson also plays his high school ball at La Lumiere in Indiana just like fellow five-star Darius Adams who we already mentioned on this list. Could they be a package deal? That’s yet to be seen, but that’d be arguably the biggest recruiting win in Izzo’s tenure if he got them both.
Haralson has an upcoming visit to Michigan State next month beginning Sept. 14. Indiana and Notre Dame will also host Haralson the weeks before this visit as well, which rounds out what could be his top three schools.
Haralson is someone that Izzo has recruited early and often this cycle, so I’d love to think Michigan State has a great chance to win this recruitment. Having the last visit later in September could also be a promising sign as well.
If you’re going to put all your eggs in one basket as a fan as to which of these recruitments you want Izzo to win, Haralson may just be your best choice.
