3. Jaren Mangham, RB

Next up was running back Jaren Mangham. He entered the portal pretty late on Tuesday, which made this announcement a little surprising. But similarly to Boyd, this isn't a loss that MSU fans need to worry about.

Last season, Mangham only managaed 30 carries for 81 yards. So it's not like Michigan State will be missing out on someone who is a major contributor. You also have to factor in that the Spartans have two guys at running back on the roster who are clearly better than him.

First, you have Nate Carter who was the lead back for Michigan State last season. Then you have transfer Kay'Ron Lynch-Adams, who ran for over 1,100 yards last season at UMass.

Knowing that Michigan State already has two great options in the backfield, I personally am more than okay with Mangham leaving the porgram. I'd much rather a younger back with more potential get the third-string carries compared to Mangham, so this may actually benefit Michigan State in the long run.
