Recapping all 13 Michigan State basketball players’ performances at Moneyball
1. Frankie Fidler
First up is potentially the one player everyone was most excited to see in transfer Frankie Fidler. He was an elite scorer at his former score as he averaged over 20 points per game last season. But the big question was if he could do it in the Big Ten.
While Moneyball won’t ever be able to answer that question completely, after this summer’s performance I don’t think it’s impossible for him to do so.
Fidler averaged a whopping 34.8 points per game as well as 5.5 made 3-pointers as well. He was also extremely consistent all summer long, and had a five game stretch at one point where he never scored less than 37 points.
To be as frank as possible, Fidler answered every question he could about how great his offensive game is. He has a chance to be the team’s leading scorer this season, but we’ll just have to wait and see how he adjusts to the increase in competition.
