10. Carson Cooper

Let's get into one of Michigan State's big men that they desperately need to improve. Carson Cooper is one of the best defenders not just on MSU, but in the entire Big Ten. So his defense will never be the reason he doesn't play or contribute on the court this year. It's his offensive game, or lack thereof, that needs improvement.

Unfortunately for us fans, we didn't get to see much of that this summer. Cooper started Moneyball off very strong on offense by scoring 26, 23, and 16 points twice. But in his fifth game Cooper took a shot to the face and was never the same after that.

Cooper sat out the rest of that game and only played once more where he scored eight points. It doesn't sound like there's any reason to be concerned about Cooper being injured long-term, but it's a shame to see this impact his summer at Moneyball.

Now all we can do is hope that he is the version we saw in the first few games at Moneyball rather than what we saw after he got hurt.
