Moving on to the No. 2 spot in these rankings we have the second team to make the Final Four. This team, featuring Cassius Winston in his junior season, is arguably one of the greatest in Tom Izzo's tenure. They also will be remembered as one of the best for many reasons as well.

They won the Big Ten regular season and tournament championship, beat a top 10 Michigan team three times, and beat the Zion Williamson-led Duke squad to make the Final Four.

This squad had everything you need in a championship team with Cassius as the alpha point guard, knockdown shooters all over the place like Matt McQuaid, and a steady presence down low with Xavier Tillman and Nick Ward. This team even had one of the most underrated players of all time in Kenny Goins who did all the little things.

Many of you probably think this squad should be No. 1, and I'll be honest I almost put them there. But even though this team accomplished everything imaginable outside of a national championship, I still believe the team from one year earlier was better. This isn't a knock on this legendary team, but if it and the 2017-18 squad played a seven-game series, I think the next team on our list would win 4-3.
