2. Forward

Another big departure this offseason for Michigan State is Malik Hall. He was the second best player on the team and someone MSU could really rely on especially at the end of the season.

Xavier Booker is a prime candidate to fill in at the four with Hall's departure, but he can't play that position on his own. So the Spartans could really use another player to pair with Booker who can split time at the four other than Coen Carr who can't stretch the floor -- yet.

Thankfully this is a position that Izzo has already targeted in the portal. The Spartans just found out that they made the top four for Nebraska Omaha forward Frankie Fidler. Frankie is coming off a great season where he averaged 20.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Even in a lesser league, that is extremely impressive and something MSU could really use next year.

Fidler will be taking his final visit to Michigan State beginning April 12. He has already visited his other top schools, Nebraska, Creighton, and Wisconsin, so a decision from him could be coming soon.
