2. Tight Ends

Other than Aidan Chiles, tight end Jack Velling might be the biggest playmaker coming over from Oregon State. He had the most touchdowns by a tight end in the entire country last year and was named second-team All-Pac 12 last season. He's not just a pass-catcher either; he'll block his tail off to help break off huge running plays.

Him, along with breakout candidate Brennan Parachek, and Jonathan Smith and offensive coordinator Brian Lindgren can run two-tight end sets all day, creating a matchup nightmare for defenders.

Although it's only the preseason, NFL scouts are keeping their eye on Velling as a potential riser on draft boards with a good 2024 campaign.
