Predicting the final score of every 2024 Michigan State football game

6. at Oregon

If you thought the last game against the Buckeyes was ugly, just wait for what’s next. Oregon is up next, and a lot of things are not in Michigan State’s favor as they hit the road for their sixth game of the season.

First is the fact that Oregon will be insanely good this year. The Ducks and Ohio State are clearly the two best teams in the conference in my eyes, but Oregon might even be slightly better. So having to play them right after Ohio State doesn’t do the Spartans any favors.

Also is the fact that this is a Friday night game instead of a Saturday, so having one less day of prep really hurts Michigan State and benefits Oregon as the heavy favorite.

This game will get ugly and likely will be one most MSU fans turn off early. A score prediction is tough here because it all depends on how many style points Oregon wants. Maybe they’ll take it easy on us and let up in the second half?

Prediction: Oregon wins 45-17

Record: 3-3, 0-3
