Small forward: Frankie Fidler

Next up is another player where there is no debate to be had. Frankie Fidler is the Spartans' star transfer acquisition of the offseason, and so far he has not disappointed.

Fidler comes to Michigan State from Omaha where he just averaged over 20 points per game. I don’t think anyone expects him to hit that mark this year at MSU, but we do expect him to be one of the leading scorers. And so far he has done just that.

Fidler led the team in Spain with 14.3 points per game. And the part of his offensive game that was most impressive was his midrange. Fidler is able to score it at all three levels, but he so far has shined the most from midrange with a killer set of moves that he can create space with. It’s truly such a beautiful part of his game to watch.

Fidler has a chance to be the leading scorer for Michigan State this season and in all honesty is my pick to do so considering he is the most consistent scorer out of all the candidates.
