Jonathan Smith's first summer as Michigan State football coach is going to be an important one. He's already planning out dozens of official visits with the 2025 class and he's even looking ahead to 2026.

In fact, he'll be hosting one of the top 2026 tight ends this summer.

According to a report, five-star tight end Brock Harris will be in East Lansing at some point this summer. His trip to Michigan State is one of 10 he has planned throughout the summer and he's going to pretty much have his pick of the litter when it comes to committing.

The five-star tight end from Utah will be visiting Alabama, Auburn, LSU. Michigan, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, and Wisconsin along with Michigan State this summer. That's an absolutely loaded slate for the talented tight end but he's going to have interest from every major program. It's good to see Michigan State mentioned among those other programs and it's going to be a tough recruitment to win.

One thing working in Michigan State's favor here is Brian Wozniak and his resume. He has a track record of getting tight ends to the league and Jack Velling could very well be the next in line.

Harris has to see what Wozniak has done with tight ends and the offense that Jonathan Smith and Brian Lindgren run and be intrigued by it.

If Michigan State can make an impression on him this summer, maybe the Spartans could get him back for an official next summer. There's still plenty of time to go in this recruitment for the No. 22 prospect in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite.
