There is no denying how disappointing the loss to Boston College was on Saturday. I'm sure I am not the only one who feels like Michigan State football outplayed the Eagles, but unfortunately the only thing that matters is the final score.

There are many reasons why MSU ended up losing this game and one of those just so happens to be the play from quarterback Aidan Chiles. He threw for a solid 241 yards but he failed to reach the endzone through the air and also threw three interceptions.

If Michigan State is going to win he has to be better.

But it's important to note that the last thing we as fans need to do is turn on him. Unfortunately some in the fanbase have begun to do that, but thankfully Chiles' teammates are doing the exact opposite.

Chiles shared with the media that he had an emotional moment with linebacker Jordan Turner where the two actually cried together directly after the game.

Tight end Jack Velling weighed in as well immediately after the game stating that he has no doubt that Chiles will be ready to respond next week.

This is exactly what you want to see from the team, especially upperclassmen leaders like Turner and Velling. Turning on each other and blaming one another is the absolute worst thing Michigan State could do right now, especially with so much of the season remaining. All of Michigan State's goals are still in front of them, and this mindset the team has where they won't give up on each other gives them the best chance possible to finish the season strong.

The Spartans take on Ohio State at home this weekend which is a very scary game, but as long as MSU continues to play together and not give up on each other then I firmly belive that an upset win is possible this weekend.
