In case you somehow haven't heard the news yet, former Michigan State football safety Jaden Mangham, who entered the transfer portal a few weeks ago, has announced his commitment to Michigan.
Yes, you read that correctly, a former Spartan is heading down the road to the team down the road.
In this day and age of college football where crazy and shocking news happens seemingly every day, this news might be the most shocking I've seen yet.
Now don't get me wrong, I understand that each player has to do what they think is best for them and their careers. That's why I'm never that upset when a player leaves Michigan State or chooses another program over them.
But this commitment just doesn't sit well with me, and I don't think I'm the only one that feels that way.
I'm sure many of you have seen the vast opinions and posts from Michigan State fans both when Mangham announced he was visiting Michigan to when he made his commitment to the Wolverines official today. But what we haven't seen much of is reactions from current Michigan State players.
Players usually keep their emotions private, and rightfully so, but some Michigan State football players (and even a staff member) couldn't hold back after Mangham announced his shocking commitment.
Here are the reactions I saw from the team after Mangham dropped this news.
Soft anyway lol

Even former player and current Assistant AD Darien Harris voiced his opinion as well.
The standard has been set.

Continued culture is established in the locker room.
Vets have to lead and younger guys have to be WILLING to be led.
Not going to be naive and think everything can function like the past, HOWEVER, I’d like to think some things are timeless. https://t.co/YTQujAQlBt
Michigan State travels to Ann Arbor on Oct. 26 this season to take on the Wolverines. This game always has a lot on the line, but I think it's safe to say that it just got a lot more interesting.
