Michigan State football is fresh off its first official visit weekend of the summer, and good news already appears to be coming the Spartans' way. Ten recruits were in East Lansing this past weekend and many of them were top targets for Jonathan Smith and his staff.

This is the time of the year when teams typically earn their most commitments from high school recruits, and things appear to be trending that way with a talented wide receiver from Ohio.

Braylon Collier is a three-star wide receiver from Sandusky, Ohio. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 133 wide receiver in the country as well as the No. 33 player from Ohio.

Collier was one of the 10 recruits to visit Michigan State this past weekend, and he immeditately received a prediction on Sunday from On3 to commit to MSU. This prediction coming the second his visit to East Lansing ended is no small coincidence in my eyes.

Sometimes recruiting predictions take awhile to come true, but Spartan fans may not have to wait much longer in this recruitment. Earlier on Monday, Collier posted this on X.

It obviosuly isn't 100 percent set in stone, but this could very well be a commitment date that Collier is announcing. And if that is the case, I'd almost guarentee that it will be the Spartans who will be getting good news from him.

Iowa State and Iowa are the two other schools to keep an eye on this recruitment. The Cyclones have a visit scheduled for June 14 and the Hawkeyes have one on June 21. If Collier were to commit to Michigan State on June 7, there is a chance these vists could be cancelled, but we'll have to wait and see if that happens.

There likely will be a lot more recruiting news coming out for Michigan State soon, but Collier could very well end up being the first domino to fall in the Spartans' favor this summer.
