Folks, Jonathan Smith just doesn't rest. While his first Michigan State football recruiting class isn't going to blow any of the star-gazers away, he's landing guys who fit his system.

And these are also the types of players that helped Michigan State grow under Mark Dantonio. You have to build a solid foundation with guys who will stick around before aiming for the big fish. And that's excactly what Smith has been doing for the past few months.

The 2025 class has really taken off since April. Going into the spring, it had zero commitments and now it's up to 10 with another potentially on the way on Tuesday night.

In fact, three-star cornerback Aydan West -- who was just on campus -- announced that he will be making his decision on Tuesday night and he's picking between a handful of programs, including Michigan State.

West will be making a decision on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. ET, according to his Twitter, between Wake Forest, Duke, Cincinnati, Virginia, Wake Forest, and Michigan State. And, if you're big into crystal ball predictions, the Spartans look like the overwhelming favorites here.

Michigan State received an influx of crystal balls over the past couple of days and it looks like the momentum is on the Spartans' side. The timing does line up, too, as West was just on his official visit to East Lansing this past weekend and it was obviously his last planned trip of the summer.

The Spartans will be on commit watch with the No. 91 cornerback in the 2025 class from Gaithersburg, Md. The class should grow to 11 on Tuesday.
