The Michigan State football team has had plenty of success over the years. However, the Spartans are still yet to beat some FBS teams.

The last team that MSU has not beaten out of the FBS opponents is Texas Tech. The only time the two programs have met was in the 2010 Alamo Bowl.
That night in San Antonio, the Texas Tech fan base rallied together in the wake of the firing of Mike Leach just days prior thus making the Alamo Dome a home atmosphere.
In that 41-31 loss to end the 2009 season, MSU actually had a 31-27 lead in the 4th quarter. However, Tech would score the last 14 points of the game to take the win.
