Tom Izzo has been recruiting like a mad man lately. The Michigan State basketball coach signed one of the top five classes in 2023 and another top-15 group in 2024, in terms of average rating, but he's focusing havily on his 2025 class now that the Spain trip is in the books.

The roster is loaded with talent and he might just continue to upgrade through the 2025 cycle as some of his top targets are getting ready to take official visits.

One of those top targets is Dwayne Aristode.

We knew Aristode would be taking a visit to East Lansing but we didn't quite know when it would be, but he made it official on Friday. According to a report from 24/7 High School Hoops, Aristode will be headed to East Lansing next weekend, starting on Aug. 31, for his official visit.

After visiting Michigan State, he will go to USC and then Duke in back-to-back trips. Maybe if Izzo does a good enough job next weekend, he won't even need to take the other two visits. He has already seen Arizona and Wake Forest, however, and remains uncommitted.

Aristode is one of the top targets for Izzo in the 2025 class along with guys like Trey McKenney, Trent Sisley, Jordan Scott, Jalen Haralson, and Davion Hannah, among others.

Izzo has done a really good job of making up ground for Aristode who wasn't exactly on the radar a few months ago. Now it looks like the Spartans may be one of the teams to beat.

The five-star small forward from New Hampshire ranks No. 3 at his position and No. 19 overall in the 2025 class, according to the composite.
