Jase Richardson, CG

Jase Richardson has been the highest ranked Michigan State commit throughout the entire recruiting cycle, and that still hasn't changed in the final rankings. In these final rankings, Richardson slid down one spot from No. 33 to No. 34 in the 247Sports rankings.

While we never want to see any of MSU's players move down, this change is extremely minimal and is just caused from 247Sports moving one player previously ranked below Richardson past him.

At one point in the cycle, Richardson was the No. 57 player in the country. So throughout his junior season in high school he really impressed the recruiting sites and moved up a lot.

The 247Sports' ranking of Richardson aligns very similarly with the rest of the recruiting industry as well. In fact, the other recruiting rankings are slightly higher on him as the 247Sports composite rankings, which is a weighted average among all of the top recruiting sites, has Richardson as the No. 31 player in the country. So it is clear that Michigan State is getting an elite player next year, and one that likely will see a good amount of playing time in his freshman season.
