2. Malik Hall's heater continued

Malik Hall is on an absolute tear.

After putting up a career-high 29 points at Penn State on Wednesday which broke his previous career-high of 24 against the Nittany Lions a month earlier, he dropped 18 points and four rebounds against Michigan on Saturday night, shooting 8-for-13 from the floor.

On a night when Michigan State couldn't seem to get anything going from outside of 15 feet, Hall thrived and put the team on his back. He did have four turnovers, but he more than made up for that with two huge dunks late in the game to put the game away. One was one a fast-break where he sprinted down ahead of everyone and caught a perfect pass from AJ Hoggard and the other was after a nice pump-fake and drive down the baseline.

It's hard to believe that Hall is averaging just 12.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game because he's been putting up crazy numbers lately.

In fact, he's averaging 23 points and 6.3 rebounds over his last three games and 15.6 points and 5.6 rebounds over the past 14 games and that includes a six-point and a zero-point, zero-rebound performance. Not too shabby, right?

If this continues, he could lead MSU on a nice NCAA Tournament run.
