2. Malik Hall owns Penn State

In the first meeting between Michigan State and Penn State this season, Malik Hall put up a career-high 24 points and looked like the best player on the floor. Fast forward a month, and the same was true on Wednesday night.

Hall surpassed his career-high with another one, dropping 29 points on 10-of-13 shooting and he made his only 3-point attempt and all eight of his free throws. He added 10 rebounds and three assists and no one on Penn State could slow him down. Whatever Hall wanted to do, he did. And he seemed to do no wrong.

Even late in the game with the win in hand and the shot clock winding down, Hall jacked up a prayer from deep and was fouled and made all three freebies. He could do no wrong.

If we get this version of Malik Hall for the rest of the year, who is stopping Michigan State?

Now don't get me started on the lack of Xavier Booker minutes.
