1. When this team is on, it can beat anyone

If we learned anything on Saturday, it's that when Michigan State plays to its potential and how it's supposed to, there aren't many teams in college basketball who can take the Spartans down.

Michigan State came out and punched Baylor in the mouth and the Bears couldn't respond. They just kept giving jab after jab and the Bears just didn't have any fight left after a while. Michigan State dominated from start to finish and this one wasn't even close.

If you told someone who had no idea what the records were for either team but only said that one was undefeated and ranked No. 6 in the country, they would have easily said that was Michigan State. That's how good the Spartans looked for 40 minutes. This was a complete game.

Tom Izzo said that he wanted to get back to the basics with defense, rebounding, and running and the Spartans did all of that to perfection.

This was the Michigan State team we expected all year and not many teams can beat it when it's on.
