2. Jaden Akins catches fire

Jaden Akins has been OK, at best, this season as he's trying to find his footing and gain some momentum by getting his shot back.

The Spartans need him to be better.

And he will be on Saturday against the Bears. He's going to have his best game of the year, hitting four 3-pointers and finishing with 16 points and eight rebounds. He's going to attack the rim a couple of times as well and the Spartans will benefit from his aggressiveness.

Akins is going to get back on track and this team will benefit and if he's on his game, the rest of the lineup is that much more effective. We may think it's all up to AJ Hoggard to wake up, but Akins needs to return to form as well. He's too good to struggle this much.
