Frankie Fidler and Malik Hall seen working out together
It's that time of the offseason where the only focus for Michigan State players is working on their craft and improving on the things they need to before next season. Typically this takes place in East Lansing or back in their hometown, but the newest Spartan commit has other plans.
Transfer Frankie Fidler is spending sometime this offseason in Arizona working out and going through the NBA draft process to get feedback before he returns to college. He plans to move to East Lansing later this summer, so there is no need to worry about him jumping ship.
But what's cool about this decision from Fidler is that he can work out with other guys that he normally wouldn't have an opportunity to, including current pros and guys looking to make the jump to the pros this year. And interesting enough, Fidler is working out with another Michigan State player from this past season's team.
Frankie Fidler and Malik Hall working out with each other
As you can see in the picutre above that was posted on Thursday, Fidler and Malik Hall were part of a joint workout made up of a lot of college and pro basketball players. Fidler is the third player in the front row from the right and Hall is directly behind him in the back row.
So not only is it cool to see Fidler working out with this group of guys, it's awesome to see him already working with another Spartan. Now I know Fidler and Hall won't play with each other at Michigan State, but I can only imagine the conversations they had with each other during this workout.
We all know how much of a brotherhood the Michigan State basketball program is, and we all know how nice of a guy Hall is. So I imagine Hall was very welcoming to Fidler and likely spoke a lot about what to expect when he makes the move to East Lansing.
