After spending just two days in the transfer portal, former Michigan State football lineman Ethan Boyd has already found a new home.

That's right, it took just 48 hours for Boyd to consider giving up football, per some message board rumors, and then commit to Deion Sanders and Colorado.

This is one of the more surprising moves that I've seen this offseason not only because it was such a quick decision which truly makes you wonder how much he talked to Colorado before leaving Michigan State but also because Deion Sanders has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately.

In fact, the NFL legend and current head coach in Boulder has been under fire recently for the way he called out and trashed an FCS player on Twitter. His son called a former teammate and someone who wanted to stay and compete for playing time but was ultimately forced to transfer by Deion "mid at best" and the head coach doubled down by joining in on the trash talk.

For a guy like Boyd, this just doesn't feel like a great culture fit, but maybe Sanders pitched him some early playing time because the Buffaloes could use all the help they can get, especially on that offensive line. He presumably left Michigan State because of his status on the depth chart.

It'll be interesting to see how this fit plays out or if Boyd starts at right tackle.

But he could soon be joined by another former Spartan in Derrick Harmon who has the Buffaloes in his top five before a decision -- Michigan State is also apparently in the running for him again.
