Tight End: Josiah Price

For better or for worse, the tight end selection was actually very easy for me. This likely had something to do with the tight end position never being a huge focal point in Mark Dantonio’s offenses, but this tight end in particular was still able to shine.

Josiah Price once again was the go to tight end during the height of the Dantonio era. From 2013-2016, he was dominant and ended his career as Michigan State’s all time touchdown leader among tight ends with 21 career touchdowns. Price also was a two time selection to the third team All-Big Ten as well.

You really can’t find a more reliable right end in my opinion than Price. Thinking back to the glory days under Dantonio, it seemed like he was always catching a big touchdown pass in every big game.

Offenses just operate so much better when you have a weapon at tight end, and that’s exactly what Price was. So pair him with all the other skill positions I already mentioned and this offense would be scary good.
