Wide Receiver 2: Aaron Burbridge

Since we already have the player at No. 1 in Michigan State history in receptions, why not snag the guy at No. 2 while we’re at it.

Aaron Burbridge is another standout receiver from the Dantonio era who played from 2012-2015. He was the go to receiver during the best years of Dantonio’s tenure, and accumulated 165 receptions and 2,174 yards during his career.

Burbridge’s 2015 campaign was one of the best in Michigan State history when he totaled 85 catches for 1,258 yards. That’s the most single season receptions in school history and fifth most receiving yards in a single season.

During his 2015 season, Burbridge also led the Big Ten in receptions and receiving yards, was the Big Ten’s wide receiver of the year and a first team All-Big Ten selection.

Sure Burbridge really only had one elite season at Michigan State, but that season was good enough for me to feel confident snagging him as my second wide receiver.
