Right Guard: Joel Foreman

Up next is Joel Foreman who played a little earlier in Danonio’s era from 2007-2011.

Similarly to Allen, he began his career by redshirting in 2007, but once the 2008 season began he immediately became a starter. Foreman was the first four year offensive line starter for MSU since the mid-90s and he also racked up 49 total starts, This is the most in school history for an offensive lineman and tied for the most all time at any position.

He began his career quickly by being named to the first team All-American freshman team, then ended his career just as strong strong by being named to the All-Big Ten first team as a senior.

Foreman never made it into the NFL, but again that doesn’t take anything away from the impressive collegiate career he had at Michigan State. He was the best offensive lineman on Dantonio’s first Big Ten championship team in 2010 and in my opinion is the rightful owner of the right guard spot on this list.
