2. How do the new players gel with the old?

Potentially the most challenging thing for Michigan State this year is learning how to play as a unit quick enough. With all the new faces both on the team and coaching staff, will they be able to figure out how to play as a team in time?

I have no doubts that they’ll be able to figure it out at some point, but will they be able to by the first game of the season when Florida Atlantic comes to town?

The best teams and players know what their teammates are going to do without having to communicate. Whether that be Chiles with his receivers, the offensive line working together or the linebacker and secondary working together in coverage, people just instinctively know what their counterparts are going to do.

These are things that are not easy to do, but if Michigan State is going to be successful they have to figure this out. And I hope we see them demonstrating this during fall camp.
