4. Nick Marsh, WR (Freshman)

Nick Marsh was the crown jewel of the 2024 recruiting class and he was almost lost this past season due to the Mel Tucker situation. He committed to Tucker and the previous staff and then decommitted last spring before committing again in the summer. Marsh decided to stick it out even when Tucker was fired despite visiting other schools to make sure.

Jonathan Smith did a really good job of convincing him to remain part of the class and sign with the Spartans, enrolling early in the winter. Courtney Hawkins was also a big reason for this.

All Marsh has done since has been dominate during the spring game and show all Spartan fans that the future of the receiver position is in good hands. He had over 100 receiving yards in the spring game and looked like a future star.

Michigan State needs some help at receiver and Marsh could very well be a starter this upcoming season as a true freshman. Don't be shocked if he's named a Freshman All-American and puts up some impressive numbers in year one with the Spartans.
