1. Aidan Chiles, QB (Oregon State transfer)

Speaking of Aidan Chiles, this one is no surprise and I'm OK with that.

I was going to make this list "most impactful transfers not named Aidan Chiles" but any chance I get to talk about this talented dual-threat from Oregon State, I'm taking it.

Chiles was the No. 1 quarterback transfer this offseason according to some services and a top-10 overall player in the portal. The writing seemed like it was on the wall when Jonathan Smith took the Michigan State job that Chiles would join him and he finally did a few weeks later and hit the ground running, enrolling in the winter.

It's widely assumed that Chiles is going to be the QB1 this fall and he might just be the most impactful newcomer in the entire Big Ten. And yes, that includes Caleb Downs and Dillon Gabriel.

Michigan State's offense needed a boost at the position where it had been lacking for years and Chiles might legitimately be the most talented quarterback the Spartans have had since Connor Cook.

The impact Chiles will have this season won't be touched by anyone else coming in.
