3. Tanner Miller, OL (Oregon State transfer)

For some reason, 247Sports is not very high on Tanner Miller. Don't get me wrong, they rate him an 88 overall as a transfer (90 is usually four-star status), but that seems way too low for him. I mean, he was an All-American so he deserves a little more respect I would think.

Miller followed Jonathan Smith and Jim Michalczik over from Oregon State during the winter and projects to be the Spartans' starting center this fall. He was an All-American last season, according to ESPN, and the AP voted him a first-team All-Pac-12 member. The coaches weren't quite as high on Miller, snubbing him and voting him second-team All-Pac-12.

For an offensive line that needed a shot in the arm this offseason, Miller is a breath of fresh air. He's going to be a leader on and off the field and he already has familiarity with the staff and Aidan Chiles.

The Oregon State transfer has a chance to be the Spartans' best offensive lineman this season and engineer a turnaround of epic proportions in the trenches.
