1. Michigan State has likely punched its ticket

Coming into Thursday's game, Michigan State was a likely 10-seed in the NCAA Tournament, but the Spartans were still flirting with that bubble. Some bracket experts had the Spartans as one of the 'last four byes' in the NCAA Tournament but that's not a comfortable spot to be.

Fortunately, the veteran-laden team stepped up in the most important game of the season, flipping a five-point second-half deficit into a 10-point win. The Spartans showed up when it mattered.

And you could tell how much it meant to Tom Izzo in the post-game interview on BTN. He knew that this is exactly what his team is capable of and seeing them show up with the season on the line had to be an emotional feeling for the Hall of Fame head coach.

The Spartans are now likely comfortably in the NCAA Tournament as a No. 9 or No. 10 seed but a win over Purdue on Friday could make things even more interesting in an improved seed line discussion.

Folks, this program likely locked up its 26th straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Now let's make a run.
