2. Two Michigan State Spartans go cold

Now it's time to jump into the things that weren't so great from Thursday night.

The first thing that jumped out to me were the no show performances from a couple Spartans. This includes Gehrig Normand and Jesse McCulloch who both only scored three points.

Neither Normand or McCulloch will play a ton of minutes for Michigan State this season, but both will see some time most games, especially Normand. So I'm a little concerned seeing both players struggle so much on Thursday.

Defense also usually is nonexistant at Moneyball, so this typically allows for the MSU players to shine as they are the best players on the floor. But these two were unable to assert their dominance which is unfortunate to see.

Hopefully both players will be able to bounce back next week during the final week of Moneyball to improve their confidence heading into the regular season.
