2. Jase Richardson finishes strong

Shall we keep the praise going for the incoming freshmen?

Another common theme this summer at Moneyball was Jase Richardson playing very well. He hasn’t been electric all summer long, but he was Thursday night in his Moneyball finale.

Richardson went off once again for 32 points which included three 3-pointers. Not only did he show off his range once again, but he showed that he can score at all three levels by finishing strong at the rim and hitting some mid-range jump shots as well.

I’ll be very curious to see how much playing time Richardson gets this winter. He likely will be stuck behind both Tre Holloman and Jeremy Fears Jr., but that doesn’t mean he won’t play at all.

If Rhichardson’s Moneyball performance tells us anything (which always needs to be taken with a grain of salt) then he should be in for a decent role off the bench.
