3. Keep play calls simple at first

So far this season Aidan Chiles has improved every single game. The biggest difference I’ve noticed from game one to now is that Michigan State has kept the offensive play-calling simple for Chiles early in the more recent games.

Instead of calling deep passes or difficult routes early in the game, Brian Lindgren needs to call plays that give Chiles a short, easy pass to complete. This helps Chiles get into a rhythm early and build his confidence up so he can hit some more difficult passes later in the game like we saw him do two weeks ago in their win against Maryland.

So for MSU to have a good chance at winning this game they need to do the same thing as the last two games and keep it simple on offense to start. The sooner Chiles gets in a rhythm the sooner he can beat a defense on his own, and the best way to do that is by starting with some more basic play calls on offense.
