Michigan State football is coming off yet another disappointing loss this past weekend as Illinois was able to stave off a potential comeback in the third quarter to score 17 straight points and win 38-16.

Jonathan Smith has caught some flak this week for not having his team ready to play and there's some chatter that maybe the program has run stale. Former and current players have already shot down that notion so that's a positive but it's disappointing to see the effort we witnessed last weekend this late in the season.

Now, the Spartans will get a chance to bounce back on Friday night against a 1-9 Purdue team that just hasn't been able to do anything this year.

This could also be the last or second-to-last game for head coach Ryan Walters who is rumored to be facing a "huge game" against the Spartans.

Now let's dive into everything you need to know for this matchup, starting with how to watch.
