Tom Izzo and his squad were able to breeze past what the Michigan State head coach says is the toughest round to get through, the first round. The Spartans took down North Dakota State 92-67 on Thursday and now will face Louisville in the Round of 32.

The Cardinals will be without star Mikel Brown Jr. yet again as he is still nursing an injury from the regular season, and it might end up haunting them against Michigan State. Izzo will have his guys ready to go, but they are only slight favorites over the Cardinals.

Without leading Mikel Brown, Louisville will continue to lean on Ryan Conwell to lead the team in scoring, and it will take a lot to take down the Spartans.

Not a lot of people thought Louisville was going to survive the upset against USF, but the Cardinals proved many wrong and made it past the Bulls. The Spartans won't be as easy an opponent, and Michigan State is ready for a Sweet 16 appearance, hence predicting it will be a close win for the Spartans.
