In case you're unaware, Michigan State football is facing a massive weekend.

Obviously there's the big game against Boston College which is a rematch of last season's heart-breaker in Chestnut Hill. A late touchdown secured a 23-19 win for Boston College in Jonathan Smith's first season at the helm, and his second big road game. Unfortunately, that loss hurt a little more than anticipated as it led to three consecutive defeats. A win there may have led to a bowl berth, but we're not going to dwell on the past.

On top of the big game against Boston College on Saturday night, the Spartans are also hosting a plethora of elite recruits for both the football and basketball programs.

Want to know what will help recruiting other than a big win? New uniform combinations.

No, I'm not kidding. Michigan State has impressed recruits over the years with their fresh, new jerseys, and it looks like the Spartans will debut a brand-new look on Saturday night.

No, your eyes haven't deceived you, that's a new look for Michigan State. A white helmet with a black stripe and black Spartan logo, a black jersey with white numbers, and white pants. That's one of the sharpest looks that I can remember, and it's going to look really good under the lights.

The beginning of the video gave me a little PTSD because of the green hue on the screen -- it made it look like the Spartans were wearing neon green pants again. Thankfully, that's not the case.

Michigan State will definitely be stealing the show, uniform-wise, this year as opposed to Boston College winning that threads battle with the Red Bandana combo.

You have to love a program that keeps it fresh.
