Shortly after making the top schools list for five-star center Ethan Taylor on Saturday afternoon, Michigan State basketball made the cut for another top-150 prospect.

Ethan Taylor named his top six schools on Saturday afternoon, and the 2026 class' No. 1 center had the Spartans listed along with Oklahoma, Indiana, Oregon, Kentucky, and Kansas, and now they're on another top list with a watered-down list of potential suitors.

Four-star recently-offered forward Jalyn Collingwood named his top seven on Saturday, and Michigan State was listed along with Mississippi State, Ohio State, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Butler, and Maryland.

The four-star forward from Washington, D.C., just planned an official visit to East Lansing on Oct. 3, and now he's down to seven schools. And this is the type of top seven that Michigan State should beat out, but it all depends on just how high of a priority Collingwood is compared to the rest of his 2026 class forward targets.

Michigan State is also pursuing five-star forward Anthony Thompson, and four-star forwards Maximo Adams, Bryson Howard, Jayden Hodge, Quinn Costello, and Julius Avent.

Collingwood is the No. 150 overall prospect in the 2026 class and the No. 49 small forward, according to 247Sports. And he's only rising in the rankings.

If Izzo puts on the full-court press, I believe this recruitment is one that he should win.
