With the Boston College Eagles rolling into East Lansing, this weekend, Michigan State football will certainly have plenty of visitors in town. That includes not only fans, but future prospects and even players who are already committed to the Spartans.

The Saturday night clash with the Eagles, will make for a great opportunity for Michigan State football and basketball recruiting. Sure, the 2026 Spartan football class already has 22 commits, but that doesn't mean they aren't eyeing a few more pieces to add to the puzzle.

Three-star defensive lineman Frederic Sainteus from Florida will be in town for an official visit, according to Corey Robinson from 247Sports.

Sainteus apparently won't be alone as the Spartans will look to hit a massive head start on their 2028 class this weekend as well. Lorenzo McMullen Jr. from Cincinnati, Ohio, is currently rated as a five-star wide receiver in the 2028 class, and he's expected to be in town.

McMullen Jr. announced on social media Tuesday, that he would be in attendance for the Spartans duel with Boston College.

McMullen hasn't received an official offer from the Spartans yet, but I'm sure it will be coming soon. This game with Boston College could be the perfect opportunity to get plenty of attention on East Lansing once again. It has been a while since MSU football has had such a marquee home non-conference game.

Like football, Saturday's going to be big for Michigan State basketball. Three high-level hoops visitors will be taking in the action as well.

Carlos Medlock Jr., who is already committed to Tom Izzo, will try to sway shooting guard Jasiah Jervis and power forward Quinn Costello to join the 2026 basketball class.

These are the type of weekends where good things can happen in recruiting especially in East Lansing. I'm sure there will be plenty of other visitors on Saturday. No matter what happens on Saturday night, it's going to be a massive recruiting weekend regardless.
