Jeremy Fears Jr. has been a busy man this offseason.

The Michigan State point guard worked out with his brother as he prepared for the NBA Draft, spent some time with his new teammates and even raved about Divine Ugochukwu's potential, and went to the NBA Draft with his brother, watching him hear his name called at No. 7 overall.

On Friday night, he added to his busy offseason, finding himself in Chicago to throw out the first pitch at the White Sox game.

I have yet to find video of the pitch, but I'm just going to assume he threw a strike because he doesn't take anything lightly. Fears would be the kind of person who would practice for a week straight after finding out he was throwing the first pitch at an MLB game -- everything runs at 100 percent with him.

Although the White Sox are one of the worst teams in the majors, it's cool to see Michigan State's point guard get some recognition like this, especially from his hometown team.

In one week, he was in the NBA Draft green room and on a major league mound. Talk about some solid national exposure.

Fears is gearing up for a huge sophomore season with the Spartans in which everyone is hoping he takes a massive leap and becomes that next great Michigan State point guard that we all expected him to be before missing the second half of his freshman season. If he can add a jumper to his game and become that elite playmaker that we've seen flashes of, he'll eventually be throwing out a first pitch as an NBA Draft pick.
