First it was Jase Richardson. Then it was Jaden Akins followed by Marcus Bingham Jr. And now it's Frankie Fidler who has found his new NBA home.
After Richardson was drafted No. 25 overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, fans waited patiently as the Spartans' undrafted free agents awaited their turns.
It took about a week to announce, but the Orlando Magic shared their NBA Summer League roster on Wednesday and appearing on it, to the surprise of many, were Akins and Bingham. That meant that three Spartans would be teaming up on the same NBA Summer League team.
But what about guys like Fidler and Szymon Zapala? I mean, Mady Sissoko got a Summer League shot, so why not the guy who replaced him in the post?
Well, Fidler has officially found his new home anyway as he's joining the Bucks this summer.

Fidler is a Midwest kid so this is a move that shouldn't be too much for him to handle and with all the change he's experience over the past year-plus, going from Omaha to East Lansing and now to the NBA, he's built for a situation like this where he may not be completely comfortable.
Although he didn't quite live up to expectations in East Lansing, he did show flashes of being a really good player. He was always a plus performer, but there were times where he took over.
At Omaha, Fidler was a 20-point-per-game scorer and took a couple of steps back in production when he got to Michigan State. He still has the frame to become a successful forward in the league, but he needs to get back to what made him a bucket-getter because that's what teams need.
Now he'll get a chance to prove himself in Summer League.
