A former Michigan State football receiver has already found a new home.

After hitting the transfer portal last week, Jaron Glover announced on Twitter on Friday that he would be taking his talents to the SEC with the other MSU.

That's right, Glover is joining Mississippi State.

The former three-star receiver from Florida is moving closer to home for his fourth season of college football. He'll join a Mississippi State program that is undergoing a massive rebuild and has dealt with a lot of changes over the past few changes out of their control.

Mississippi State does need a lot of help in the receiving corps as its top receiver from last season, Kevin Coleman Jr., entered the transfer portal following the season. He had over 900 receiving yards this past season for the Bulldogs. That means that there's an opportunity for Glover to push for targets and a starting job.

Glover had an interesting career at Michigan State, getting a redshirt in 2022 before playing some major snaps in 2023, catching 14 passes for 261 yards but he was held out of the end zone. He was looking to have a bigger role in 2024 after flirting with the portal and deciding to return to play for Jonathan Smith and Co. He had a disappointing year, catching 15 passes for 192 yards and two scores but he did miss some time with an injury.

The Sarasota, Fla., native will look to finish his career on a high note and earn a larger role at a Power Four program. This feels like a good fit and opportunity for him.
