Attention all Spartan fan gamers: you can now help your favorite Michigan State football players earn more money by just playing the new EA Sports College Football 26 games that's being released in July.

How, you ask?

According to a report last week, schools can get paid a percentage of earnings based on how much gamers use their team in EA Sports College Football 26.

That report was confirmed by Darren Rovell.

You know what that means, right? It's time to take over as Michigan State in your next dynasty mode rebuild or your MyPlayer mode in order to help the Spartans earn a larger cut of the overall earnings.

According to the new royalties structure, users will be able to see their favorite teams get paid more based on how much they are used in the new game.

"For each CFB product released by EA SPORTS, we (CLC Learfield) will provide a percentage for each institution based on the games played for that institution as a percentage of the total games played across all institutions. This percentage of games played will become the final allocation percentage for each school that will be applied to the total gross royalties for all institutions received."

CLC Learfield also provided an example of what this means. So, for example, let's say the pool for all teams to split is $5 million and let's say one team gets 1% of all the plays on the game across all modes, that team will get 1% of the $5 million to split amongst their players. That 1% would be $50,000 to split among the team.

Not too bad.

Obviously those numbers aren't verified, but rather just an example.

But the more you use Michigan State in the next EA Sports College Football game, the more Spartan players will get paid. So I better see everyone starting 10 dynasties with Michigan State and running that to 20 seasons each or else you're not trying hard enough.

NIL is evolving by the day.
