Winning cures all. That's a common phrase that's been used by all sports fans, but especially lately from Michigan State football fans. The past three losing seasons have led to a lot of hardship for the program, but winning can cure that.
We're starting to see that play out.
While we're just two games into the 2025 season, Michigan State has picked up two big wins and is sitting at 2-0 heading into a Week 3 battle with Youngstown State. And recruits are starting to take notice. The Spartans are going to be hosting plenty of elite talent this fall, and another big-time in-state recruit announced that a visit is on the horizon.
Four-star top-50 wide receiver Dakota Guerrant announced on social media on Wednesday that he's planning a November game-day visit to Michigan State.

Guerrant has already planned out visits to Tennessee, Miami, Penn State, North Carolina, Texas A&M, and Oregon, but he's saving the in-state programs for last.
For him to visit Michigan State in November, he'll likely be in town for the Penn State game on Nov. 15 since the only other "home" game in the final month is a neutral-site showdown with Maryland at Ford Field in Detroit. As for Michigan, he could visit Ann Arbor on Nov. 1 with Purdue coming to town or on Nov. 29 for the Ohio State game. That choice seems easy.
Both programs will have a chance to upset a big-time opponent during Guerrant's November visit, assuming he's there for the Penn State and Ohio State games, respectively.
Guerrant is ranked the No. 41 overall recruit and eighth-best receiver in the 2027 class, per the composite on 247Sports. He's also the state of Michigan's No. 1 prospect.
