Michigan State made some key offseason moves that should help the Spartans in their quest for back-to-back Big Ten titles such as Kaleb Glenn and Trey Fort, but there's one that may be flying under the radar for the time being: Divine Ugochukwu.

He may not be under the radar for too much longer, though.

After the Spartans landed Ugochukwu, Jeremy Fears Jr. took to social media and called him a steal, and from the looks of it, he was right.

While you literally cannot take a single solid thing away from the Moneyball Pro-Am, you can tell when a guy just has confidence. Oh, and a clutch gene.

Shooting numbers and points per game don't much matter in Moneyball because there's little defense being played, but you can tell a lot about what kind of mindset a player is going to have. For Fort, he's going to have a scoring mindset. For Ugochukwu? It seems as if he's going to have a "give me the ball with the game on the line" mindset.

The projected backup point guard from Miami showed that he might just have that clutch gene that Michigan State fans got to witness with Tyson Walker and Jase Richardson.

At Moneyball on Tuesday, he hit the game-winning and-one with no time on the clock to send his team to the semifinals of the Pro-Am.

Yes, it's just Moneyball, but the calmness and clock awareness of that final play, hitting a contested layup and draining the free throw to win the game shows that Michigan State may be getting a clutch performer in Ugochukwu.

Having a backup point guard with the ability to drive the lane and make contested shots and not shy away from the moment is a major plus.

I have a feeling he's going to exceed expectations this season.
