Week 10 was a wild one, including the Michigan vs. Michigan State game. That’s not going to have a single effect on the Week 11 College Football Playoff rankings, however. Neither team will be playing for a title this year.

The week did have some wild upsets, including the No. 1 team in the country falling on the road to a team on the edge of a potential playoff berth.

Notre Dame hosted the No. 1 team in the country and raced out to a massive lead before the Miami Hurricanes stormed back to make it 24-17. Seven points remained the difference as Notre Dame was able to hold on for one of its biggest wins in years. The Irish are going to leap from No. 11 in the rankings into that top-five range after the win.

Miami will see a decent drop because the rest of the top five played really well outside of a bye week for Indiana.

BYU, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Kentucky, and LSU also lost and their playoff hopes are all on life support with less than a month left in the regular season.

Week 11 was one of the most insane slates of the season and it lived up to the hype.

BYU lost The Holy War to the hotly-contested No. 3 team in the country, Utah, and that’ll put Kalani Sitake and Co. in a tough position with a second loss now. Ole Miss got dominated by the new No. 1 team in college football, Georgia. That game wasn’t close from the opening snap and it’s clear that these aren’t Lane Kiffin’s Rebels.

Speaking of Kiffin, his LSU Tigers were dismantled on their own turf by Alabama as he remains winless against the Crimson Tide as a head coach in his career. Even when Nick Saban is gone, the Tide have his number.

Ohio State was shocked at home by a Dante Moore-less Oregon team which essentially eliminates the three-loss Buckeyes from playoff contention. Ryan Day will now need to win out to salvage any sort of respect from his fanbase.

And finally, one of the best stories in college football this season (Kentucky) was unable to overcome Rocky Top, losing 34-6 in Knoxville.

Now, onto the College Football Playoff rankings projections.
