2. Aidan Chiles, QB
This one is fairly obvious. It probably could've gone without saying, but keeping the starting quarterback and a guy who improved throughout the year is imperative.
Aidan Chiles' return is very likely and it's critical to success in 2025.
While Chiles did struggle with turnovers this season, he didn't shut down even when times got tough. Even when it felt like everyone had turned on him because of his turnover issues, he kept going and kept growing and improving. He finished the year with more touchdown passes than interceptions which didn't seem likely for a long time. He looked like a true budding star near the end of the year.
Michigan State needs Chiles back because even the experts agree that he's a legit NFL prospect at quarterback and the offense will flourish with him as long as Jonathan Smith adds to his weaponry via the portal.
