2. Turnovers need to be cleaned up

Tom Izzo took time to speak to Spartan Sports Network radio after the game and Will Tieman told him that he has a really good team on his hands. Izzo agreed and then said that it won't be a really good team unless they clean up their turnovers.

And he's right.

For most of the season, I'll say that turnovers haven't been that big of an issue but they played a huge role on Friday night as the Spartans coughed the ball up 16 times and there was a stretch in the second half which felt like they turned it over every single possession for about five minutes straight.

Ohio State played some really good defense in that stretch so the Buckeyes deserve some credit there, but Michigan State also had some unforced errors and got a little rattled when the Buckeyes were in the midst of a 15-2 run.

If the turnovers get cleaned up, Michigan State will be in the Big Ten title race and have a chance to make a run at a Final Four.
